It's our church venture to Chicago,
which promises to be a fun-loving romp
through the American Midwest
for your friend and mine, Jesus Christ.
We'll be spreading the Good Word through
song and occasionally dance.
Although the dancing is swaying.
And I don't get in to it.
I dig the music this year.
And I ALSO dig the music that TJ
impregnated my iPod with.

Shopping will commence.

The Strokes show...wow.
Started off with this band called
Apples In Stereo.
They were pretty amazing. Had some good tunes.
NEXT
Came The Strokes.
Wow.
Lights.
Fab's drumming.
Albert & Nick's guitar heroics.
Jules's vocals.
Nikolai's solid bass.
An insane set list with many favorites.
A two-hour set.
UnREAL.
+best lights I've ever seen at a concert.
HELL YES.

Spent most of last night at Cameron's rehearsing/writing music.
I'm terribly excited about this summer with all the shows and whatnot.

Musical time is FAST approaching, with only three days until the Gold Card Matinee.
Will we be ready? You bet your sweet honey-glazed bon bons.
I am so excited. Wonderful Town is so upbeat and funny, that it will provide a great contrast with Les Miserables from last year.
Let's just see if we can pull it all together in our final two rehearsals.

Okay, sorry I haven't updated to anyone that reads this.
Now, Spring is finally upon us.
Today, we received the rehearsal schedule for "Wonderful Town,"
which promises to be amazing.
I went home sick today from school, and to my surprise
was a letter from the University of Tennessee College of Music.
I'd passed my audition.
Thank God for that.
In other news, I'm leaving for Paris tomorrow, and haven't packed.
Oh well, there's always the morning.

I got 31st chair.
40 made it out of 81.
I stunk it up pretty bad, but I'm blessed that I made it at all.

Since we're so jet-set and all,
we decided to fly down
(we=logan, john, cameron, and i)
to see elliot.
tj, jessie, brent, and clint had already left,
but we got to sit down with elliot's family.
They are some of the most AMAZING people
I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
We basically were delivered the most beautiful sermon
by people that were SO firmly rooted in their faith,
that they called all of the experience a blessing.
It was truly amazing. We were all in tears.
What a night.
What an amazing night.
Christ's hand was over all of us,
and there was no sorrow,
just rejoicing.
Thank you, Father.
